Copper Die Casting

With the changing energy scenario in the world today, and with customers requiring more energy efficient core packs and rotors; as a part of our modernization policy, we have decided to embrace this technical challenge. 

Besides manufacturing electric laminations with higher grades of steel, we have also developed copper die cast rotors (COPTOR) using ETP grade copper, having a conductivity of 101% IACS specification.

We are pleased to report that this product has been well-accepted and welcomed by both our domestic and international clients.

In the first phase we have the capacity to die cast small to medium copper die cast rotors (we can also die cast auto stacked rotors). 

Currently we are producing copper die cast rotors upto 300mm core length (LFE) with a maximum ring diameter of 180mm. The maximum active copper inside the rotor is 10 kilograms. 

We have more than 75 different types of die casting tools for copper rotors in our shelf including the IEC range upto 225 frame. 

In our second and upcoming phase we have planned to start the die casting of copper rotors upto 315 frame.
